I use full grain leather, which is the top of all leather. It is the strongest, most resistant, and will last 100 years with proper care. When I design a Leather Satchel and other classic leather bags, I use full grain leather. Now, if I use the best leather, why would I go cheap on the thread? That would make no sense at all. So instead, a polyester thread is super strong, and I use it to join the leather together, whether it is a satchel, handbag, wallet, laptop bag, or leather briefcases. It is called quality craftsmanship, and I hope other leather bag makers learn one day so they can stand tall behind their bags and other accessories. Every piece that goes in should match the level of quality, it should all go into account, all details in mind. Crafted with care for the consumer more than the profit margin.

A Leather Satchel Backpack

That is correct; this design also functions as a backpack . The back panel of the bag has pads and covered in full-grain leather, so it is comfortable and will never scratch your skin like some other backpacks.
